Muhammad Qol 🏝️ City Muhammad Qol is a coastal city in Sudan, located on the Red Sea coast and administratively part of the Red Sea State. The city is famous for its old port, which played a significant role in fishing and fish exports, and is considered part of the Greater Port Sudan area. Location: Situated on the Red Sea coast, south of Port Sudan Economic Activity: Historically renowned for its port, which was used for exporting fish Administrative Affiliation: It is considered part of the Port Sudan locality, which includes units such as Central, South, and East Port Sudan Muhammad Qol Fort (Tabia): A building that resembles a fortress more than a standard Tabia (defensive outpost). It has two floors, a wooden roof, and observation windows. Built with high-durability stone, it is distinct from the Khedivial and Mahdist forts and serves as a testament to defensive architecture in Eastern Sudan
