Saving the ship Assina

After a continuous operation lasting more than 17 days, in extremely challenging marine conditions with strong currents, high water pressure, and almost zero visibility, a Sudanese team from Blue Shark Diving and Red Sea Secrets companies achieved an exceptional feat. They succeeded in rescuing the #ASINA_CARGO ship, which had completely sunk to a depth of over 16 meters in the Red Sea, in an operation described as one of the most precise and professional marine missions 🏊🥽🦺. The operation proved beyond doubt that Sudanese professionals 💪 are capable of carrying out the most complex marine rescue operations with efficiency that matches international standards. This success was not just a ship rescue, but a message of pride in Sudan's maritime capabilities. The national teams proved that professionalism is not exclusive to outsiders, and that the people of this country are capable of bringing life back to sunken iron in the depths of the Red Sea through willpower, knowledge, and faith in their abilities.

In 2018, Blue Shark Diving & Marine Services achieved one of its most significant accomplishments in the field of heavy marine operations. The company undertook the cutting and salvage of the Al-Rashid ship, owned by Baaboud Shipping Company, after it sank near Bashayer Port and posed many risks to navigation in the area. The Blue Shark team carried out the mission using specialized equipment and high-precision techniques to ensure the safe removal of the wreck without impacting the marine environment. The operation spanned several stages, including initial surveying, engineering planning, cutting, and then the complete salvage of the wreck. This achievement marked a milestone in the company's record, confirming its ability to execute complex projects with high efficiency. Thanks to this success, Blue Shark has established itself as one of the leading companies specializing in marine services in Sudan and the Red Sea.

In 2020, Blue Shark Diving & Marine Services executed a sophisticated diving and marine survey operation in collaboration with the Egyptian Survey Company. Blue Shark’s team of divers and technicians spearheaded professional diving operations and underwater photography for the new Africa1 Port Sudan subsea cable project site in Port Sudan. The scope of work included seabed sampling, marine soil analysis, and technical penetration testing to assess site readiness for the cable installation. All phases were conducted using precision techniques and specialized equipment to ensure reliable results compliant with international standards. This project played a vital role in supporting Sudan’s telecommunications infrastructure and enhancing its regional and global connectivity. Through this operation, Blue Shark demonstrated its high efficiency in managing sensitive maritime projects, adding another significant milestone to its growing track record of delivering safe and expert marine solutions.

Sunken Object Clearance

Blue Shark Diving & Marine Services executed its first complete clearance operation of a sunken object located approximately 2 kilometers offshore, opposite the jetty. The team initiated the work with survey and assessment procedures to determine the condition of the sunken object and devise a safe plan for handling it. This was followed by a precise cutting operation, dividing the object into six sections in compliance with approved marine safety standardsUpon completion of the cutting, the company utilized the Ports' floating crane to hoist the heavy sections from the seabed. Each part was carefully salvaged to ensure no damage to the marine environment or navigational channelsThis project underscored Blue Shark’s capability to execute complex operations demanding high technical expertise and specialized equipment, marking this achievement as a significant milestone in the company's track record in marine clearance and underwater salvage.

Following the collision incident involving the MV Noor Jeddah and the subsequent loss of one of its main propellers, numerous attempts to locate the missing blade proved unsuccessful. the challenging location and complex underwater search conditions, the Blue Shark Diving & Marine Services team continued working non-stop. In an exceptional achievement, the team successfully located the blade in just one day, leveraging their expertise and advanced technique rch operations were carried out by a team of professional divers who executed a precise seabed survey around the incident area. Blue Shark Diving & Marine Services executed a precise technical mission for the MV Dahab, a vessel belonging to the Sudanese Maritime Lines, with the objective of assessing the hull condition and inspecting corrosion levels. The team utilized UT – Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement technology to accurately measure the steel thickness in various parts of the hull below the waterline. The diving and inspection operations were carried out in compliance with internationally adopted safety and quality standards to ensure reliable results The scope of work included comprehensive coverage of all required inspection points, in addition to analyzing areas that showed signs of corrosion or structural weakness Following the completion of the measurements and underwater documentation, the company prepared a detailed technical report outlining the current hull status and providing necessary recommendations for maintenance and repair This project reflected the expertise of the Blue Shark team in advanced underwater technical work, particularly in the field of Non-Destructive Surveys. This achievement represents a new addition to the company's track record in supporting the safety and continuity of the Sudanese maritime fleet.

In 2013, Blue Shark Diving & Marine Services executed its first complete refloating operation of a sunken object. The operation took place at a depth of up to 12 meters below the surface.
